I had a home inspection done, preparing my house for sale. The inspector told me I had termites in one room of my basement. Pest Services had helped me with a mouse problem, so I called them first for a free inspection. The gentleman (Tim) who came took a quick look and told me that I DON’T have termites (thank heaven), but a powderpuff beetle infestation that I can take care of on my own, and said the spray I used for termites will take care of them. He pointed out a few beetle bodies (way tiny) and the webbing they leave. He said he would provide a report for me on PSC’s letterhead to answer the inspector’s problem.I guess it’s awful to be so cynical, but I’ve reached the point when I’m amazed to find such honesty – they could have charged me a lot for my “termites”.– Christine H.
